"That's perfectly understandable. Somtimes I think that no one really truly knows anything. That would be quite boring if we understood things fully. We'd have nothing to work for." She said, a bit on the brighter side.

He nodded politely, falling back into his usual mode of silence and observation. But as he did, he noticed there was something eerie about the place: a strange stillness and quiet had fallen all around them. Something didn't seem right. He reached for his weapon.

She saw him reach for his weapon then readied a bound sword spell in her other hand. She looked around warily and readied her other hand that held flames

"Bandits, maybe," he said, voicing his thoughts. Who knew what could be here. Bandits and forsworn for sure, but Skyrim was full of endless possibilities.

"If so, then they certainly picked a bad pair to rob." She was wearing casual garb, so she figured that she didn't look like the powerful mage she was. She probably just looked like a common traveler. Whatever was out there, she wanted them to come out already. She didn't like being on edge for long durations.

Eventually, a pair of men was spotted coming down along the riverbank. Irdrin unsheathed his weapon, ready for action, but as the men approached, they didn't seem rather aggressive, only cautious. "You there, travelers!" one of them called out, "You wouldn't have happened to see any strange beasts near here?" Irdrin looked to Vaynrileth.

She turned towards the pair that finally emerged. "Aside from yourselves you mean? No we have not." She replied. "Exactly what manner of creature are you seeking?" she asked.

"A strange creature. Werewolf actually," the man finally explained. "It's been terrorizing the locals and mauling hunters and all sorts of others." Irdrin flinched. Not that he was afraid for himself, but there was just something unsettling him.

"Sounds like you've got a lot of trouble on your hands. I suppose it lives around these parts?" She wasn't too fond of werewolves. She much preferred Vampires. She noticed Irdrin flinch and gave him a brief worried glance.

"Well, stick to the roads. And duck into any inn if you come across it," the man advised. He signaled to his partner and they headed out. "Good day," he said in farewell as they headed off again. Irdrin sheathed his dagger but kept his hand on it. "What will we do with this intel, my lady?"

She sheathed her spells and gave a brief wave of farewell to the men as they left. "Well, if we fancy a Werewolf hunt then we'll ignore the fellow's advice." She gave a little shrug. "I'm not opposed to a little action and good deed doing for the area should we chose to increase our chances of comming across it."

"As you wish, my lady," he said, pondering his own misgivings as he readily accepted her judgements. Who was he to form an opinion anyway, never mind voice it. At least he had some freedom of thought.

She tried to restrain herself from making a face at him for his constant submissiveness. "Do you want to heed their advice or proceed with our current path along the river?" she asked him, figuring there wouldn't be any other way to get him to voice his opinion on any decision making matters without asking him directly. She needed to remember to ask him first before stating her own opinion.

"It is your decision, my lady," he replied, not liking how she approached him like this. He hated confrontation, but she seemed to always try pushing him towards one.

"I care about what you think though. It wouldn't be fair if I went along making every decision. You have a right choose as well," she spoke sincerely. She didn't want to force him to do anything. It just wasn't right to exercise such power over another living person. She did consider him a living person, despite what others thought about beings like him.
