Falco led his newfound friend to the street just behind the Palace of the Kings. There was a small alley way with old, worn barrels stacked against the palace wall, and a few crates too. Falco was crouched up against the wall that surrounded a property, watching that little alleyway with his dark eyes. "The cook brings out the scraps to that alleyway," he said to iandar. "All the things they don't eat inside get put in the barrels or crates by servants to be fed to livestock later. But around this time of day, no one has gotten into them yet, so we can get some food from there. And it's really good food too."

"Nice." Iandar breathed. He leaned against the wall next to Falco and peered around for any immediate danger. "Okay, lets go." He glanced back at Falco to make sure he hadn't seen anything to be worried about yet either.

Falco nooded. "Yah, I'll go first, and you follow what I do." He stood up straighter and peered around one last time, before he dashed across the street glimmering with ice. On the other side, he dropped back against the Palace wall, and then looked all around and up and down the street again to see that it was safe. Once he was sure, he beckoned to Iandar to run over.

Iandar nodded and watched Falco as he dashed over. When he beckoned Iandar cast a last glance around and ran after. he almost lost his balance on the icy street, but managed to keep upright until he got to the other side and let himself flop down with his back to the wall. "Are we good?"

Falco nodded. "Yep. We should be good now." He went right to the first barrel against the wall. The whole area smelled pretty bad because of the nature of the trash that was there, but thankfully the ice cold weather became a cold icebox for everything, keeping the food well maintained. Falco opened the lid of the barrel. Inside was mostly meats. He reached in and pulled out a piece, holding it out to Iandar.

Iandar followed, looking over Falco's shoulder, until the offered food took all his attention. "Thank you." He said reverently, taking the meat delicately and then stuffing it in his mouth.
