Name: Edenera(Goes by 'Eden' most often)
Gender: Female
Age: Equivalent to roughly 24 in human years.
Race: Altmer
Star-Sign: The Steed
Occupation: Adventurer, Occasional sell-sword
Religion: Raised to follow the Altmeri Pantheon, but tries as hard as she can to reject her religion in order to cut off all ties with her previous life.
Edenera grew up in a very well-off and influential family in northern Alinor, who took pride in their wealth, political standings, and even their pedigree. These values were taking very seriously within the family, and those who didn't do as they were told, did something that could put a mark on the family name, or even a child who didn't develop the family's trademark genes were considered 'outcasts' and 'dealt with accordingly'(Which almost always meant banishment or, more frequently, death). Luckily, Edenera kept the family genes-- a long, slender body, longer-than-average ears, and needle-straight stark white hair, deemed by her family and those who believed them as the 'purest altmer genes'. Part of the family's income came from selling off their daughters to wealthy suitors which, unknown to Edenera, was planned to eventually be her fate.
In a household where Edenera was not expected to lift a finger, she found strolling out into the garden and attending balls tedious and tiresome-- so while her parents were away on business, which was quite often, she convinced one of the Bosmer servants to teach her archery. Eden and the Bosmer got away with archery training behind Eden's parent's back for 3 years until one day her mother returned unexpectedly early and walked in on one of their sessions. Feeling that learning combat skills was the trait of a rebellious and thus undesirable bride, her mother pleaded with Eden to end her training 'for her own good'. The naturally inquisitive elf asked what her 'own good' was, and that's when the Bosmer, who had grown close to Eden, revealed that her parents planned to sell her off to the man with the highest bid like the rest of her sisters. Outraged, Eden made it clear that she did not intend to become her parent's product and was forcefully taken to her quarters. That night, Eden watched the Bosmer burn to death from her window.
The next few days, word began to spread of what had happened that night, but Eden's parents insisted she continue her life as usual to see if the nobles would pass it off as just a rumor. However, word spread like wildfire, and soon even worse rumors began to arise, the family name growing increasingly tarnished hour by hour. Eden knew exactly what was going to happen to her, so she broke into her family's treasury, stole a large amount of money, and buried it in the woods outside of the estate, planning to run away the next day. However, she woke up that morning against a tree in those same woods with her head shaved and dirtied, and a sharp pain in her abdomen. It turns out her parents had decided the best fate for their daughter was to sterilize her so she had no hope of continuing on the family line outside of Alinor, and exiling her. Eden knew that it wouldn't be long before her family discovered the money they were missing and send guards after her, so Eden quickly gathered the money she had hid and used it to sail to Tamriel. There, she spent the remainder of her money attempting to get off the grid completely-- buying new apparel, a new bow, and essentially a new life.
She stayed in Cyrodiil for a year, jumping from job to job, but when a small group of Aldmeri Dominion stopped into a shop she was cleaning for at the time. They recognized her from a bounty back in Summerset Isles and attempted to apprehend her-- but the elusive elf narrowly escaped before fleeing to Skyrim. There, instead of taking jobs, the elf used her archery abilities to take out and loot bandits while she traveled from one place to another.
Edenera is what you would call volatile, and neither she nor anyone else could get where she would turn up next, but one thing is for certain-- she is always on the move. This has left Eden rather disconnected from others, but despite being naturally weary, she tries to sustain a few friends anywhere she goes, but only because is she were to ever need help, she could utilize them. In the end, she's not the greatest friend, but everything she does she does to survive because there is still a hefty bounty on her head and she does not intend to hand herself over very easily.
