A rather old and quaint store that buys and sells potions, alchemy ingredients, tomes, and a variety of other arcane goods. It used to be run by a kind old mage who was a descendent of Alabyn, the orignal owner of the store. Now it is run by the old mage's adopted daughter. Almost all the walls are lined with shelves holding tomes, colorful bottle of potions, and all manners of items that some mage or adventurer might need. Depending on if the actual store owner is in or not, artifacts or strange items can be brought in to be identified for a small fee or sometimes no cost at all. It has an alchemy table and arcane enchanter in a small room to the side from the main one for any who wish to use them. There are living quarters above the store and a sort of storage room in the basement filled mostly with books. A sign by the door reads "Think twice before stealing from The Hagraven of Solitute".

Vaynrileth moved about in the book filled basement, rummaging through chests and cabinets. She was trying to pack for a good week out collecting ingredients for the store. They were alwasy running low on ingredients for health and magica restoration potions more than anything else. It also just gave her an excuse to get out of this horrible city. She much prefered the wilds and ruins to the nosey and loud folk of the cities. She muttered under her breath to herself the different things she needed to remember to bring.

Irdrin was always moving like a shadow. Not really that surprising for a once dead Dunmer. With quiet steps, he descended the stairs into the basement, looking around carefully, as if not sure what he was looking for. His wandering gaze finally rested on Vaynrileth, and he approached her slowly. "Need any help?" he asked, feeling a subconscious desire to serve her.

She looked up from her packing with a look of polite startle. She didn't notice Irdrin, at least not with her normal senses, until she heard him spoke. She might not have heard his approach, but she always could sense where he was, like any other conjured being. She tried to ignore this sixth sense in order to treat him more like a man and not just a conjured being. Politely feigning surprise could get tiring sometimes though. "Only help remembering to grab my list from the counter upstairs," she replied. She didn't really need the list, as she had nearly all alchemic ingredients and their primary effects memorized from years of practice, but a list kept her from getting distracted with other things on their outing. She could so easily become distracted at times.

He nodded to her, eyes shifting away from her gaze, as if it was a crime to see her eyes. "By your command, my lady," he said, his way of confirming her orders. He paused to glance at the things she was packing before he took leave of her and headed back upstairs to find her list.

She hid her frown from his response until he had left back upstairs. She didn't like it when he responded like that, but she wasn't sure if he could help it. She slipped a few journals into her bag before putting it on and heading back upstairs. "If you're ready then we can leave." She was quite eager to get out, but she tried to hide it.

He was always ready to leave. Based on his past, he still felt that same tug towards adventure and the great wilderness of Skyrim's bountiful lands. It wasn't Morrowind. It was free and untamed with untold beauty always waiting to be discovered. Or perhaps, his constant need to serve and protect her had led him into a perpetual state of paranoia: always keeping him on his toes, alert, flighty, ready to spring to action and flee with her and away from a danger he could never escape. They could never escape. "I am ready," he replied lowly, not really one to be capable of expressing emotion unless he tried.

She nodded in response and was already getting lost in her eager thoughts as she headed to the door. She was planning their route to the locations where the ingredients she wanted were, among other thoughts. They could find plenty of blue mountain flowers beneath the Dragon's Bridge. That would be the first place they would go.

His preparations included a basic set of black leather armor, a steel sword at his side, and steel boots and greaves to match. A fur lined hood would keep him warm if they went North, though he doubted they would go that far. He left the store with Vaynrileth, locking it behind them with a quick turn of the shop key in the lock. He was rather looking forward to this excursion.
