Rinori walked on in after a long day. So tiring, it was about time she had gotten some rest after spending a few sleepless nights on missions and getting some assignments. She leaned against a wall and let out a sigh of relief. "Finally... some rest for once..." She muttered some curses under her breath and closed her eyes for a brief moment.

Eilien floated, like a ghost, from room to room before finding rest in the sanctuary's hall. He blinked those glowing, eerie, amber eyes at Rinori, and made a rather comical gesture out of bowing to her. "And what has brought the leader of this fine sanctuary to lean against walls and sigh so?" he queried, settling himself on a bench against the wall, where above him hung one of the many, heavy banners of the Dark Brotherhood's black palm against red. He tilted his head slightly to the side with the question as he watched her carefully for the answer. If he thought about it, which he often did, it was rather amusing that so young and immature an elf was the leader of one of the most deadliest groups in the known world. Even if they were not nearly as powerful or feared as the Brotherhoods of old, they were easily becoming a force not to be contended easily with. They were growing under her watch, even if it had not been a long one. Eilien often sat and compared the differences of past with present and then on with his speculations of the future. His years in the Dark Brotherhood had been long and rather grueling. He had known it back when one of those Uriel Septims was killed off by the Blades and his heir was still unknown. He had eventually come to here when he grew bored of Cyrodiil life, and then regretted his decision afterwards upon seeing the state of the place. And since the leaders had all begun to stop obeying the Night Mother and setting up their own leaders with their own voices, he felt rather slighted. Betrayed. He had sworn oaths and followed orders, fluctuating between ranks at the leisure of his leaders, but disobeying the Night Mother was unforgivable. They needed a Listener, whoever he was or was going to be.

Eilien's sudden appearance made Rinori nearly jump, but she opened her eyes and shot Eilien a glare. "None of your business..." She muttered, trying not to yawn in his face to show that she was worn out. "I'm just relieved that I can sit down for once and not run around like I'm on fire." She let out a heavy sigh to stop another yawn. She really needed sleep, but she was their leader and she had more work to do.... more walls to punch in frustration. The last few missions she had been on were just ridiculous.

"You're on fire?" Legolas had only caught the last bit of what Rinori had said. He knew full well that wasn't what she was talking about, but he said it without so much as a smirk. He halted just inside the sanctuary doors and nodded respectfully to the sanctuary leader before trotting across the sanctuary to stand next to Eilien. He glanced down at the apparent nine year old. "Killed anyone lately?"

Eilien pursed his lips in a rather consternated look of disproval. “It’s not good to keep things from me,” he said in a low tone, voice almost a snarl or a hiss. Even his eyes gleamed with an odd light to them. “Everything’s my business these days, you know. Always has been. But if you’re going to be a locked chest of secrets, then very well. I won’t pry. But don’t talk down to me like a piece of filth on the bottom of your boot.” Not that Eilien really expected all that much different from her. She didn’t really know who or what he was or how old he was or all he had ever done. All she knew was what he looked like, probably an inaccurate assumption as to his age, and she knew he was dangerous. Dangerous because he denied himself blood. She probably thought it was for a noble cause. How wrong she would be. He hates himself for his bloodthirst, but it is a thirst, so he is never satisfied and always will crave it. So he uses his own sick nature to his advantage. He’s not a vampire assassin for nothing. If only she could fully grasp that. But she was young yet. Very young and immature. And not by his standards alone, but by elven standards as well. He knew elves that were older than him, and they were considered average adults. Imagine that. But with the war, a lot of the elves in the area were younger and younger still for the need of them was surpassing the churning out of them. Even the Thalmor Ambassador was some young, willowy thing, spring green shoot not yet pruned. Eilien grinned at the thought of having a go at him. He had seen the Thalmor Embassy grow and twist. At the inside, in its core, they could not see how deviously disgusting they had become, but looking in and knowing all, Eilien was fully aware. But maybe that’s where the mistake lay. Their Ambassador was not properly melded to their desires yet. He was young enough to be swayed by anything, at the tender age when young men are bombareded with the responsibility of choosing which ideals they follow. Eilien remembered a time when he was that way. Of course, he had thought he had everything figured out by the time he was two hundred and fifty-three. But that was expected. How would this new young man fare? How had he come to that line of thinking? He shook his head and turned his gaze to his fellow assassin. Legolas Hollowvale. Now there was an elf of interest. Eilien was both fascinated yet disgusted by the boy. And not of any fault of his own, but merely because Legolas was his leash. Eilien hated the thought as much as he hated the reality of it. Legolas may be capable of stopping him, but only because Eilien had a desire to stop. He wondered how the wispy Bosmer would handle him if he ever let go. Eilien grinned even wider at the thought, looking rather exuberantly pleased about something as Legolas stood next to him. “Oh wouldn’t you just love to know,” he purred.

"No and I'm thankful that I'm not on fire." She pushed herself off the wall and looked to Eilien. "You're not filth Eilien, I'm just not in the mood to talk about the mission I was on..." This time, she couldn't hold back a yawn and she just sighed. She wanted to walk away from this conversation and see if she had anything else to do before she could get some sleep.

Legolas crossed his arms loosely as he gazed down at the little vampire. His eyebrows drew together as he considered Eilien’s words thoughtfully. He began to look vaguely disturbed and shook his head. “No, not really, actually. I bet you have. No, wait, you’re still grumpy, so that means you haven’t in a while. Maybe you should try it, it might make you a happier little person, and you wouldn’t snap at our Sanctuary Leader unnecessarily.” Legolas didn’t know everything there was to know about his ‘partner’ but the person who’d put him in charge of making sure Eilien didn’t go off his head and kill everyone and made sure that he knew what he was dealing with, and what to expect should he ever have to excursive his duty as a personal leash. Noting Rinori’s yawn, he frowned. “You should get some rest. I’m sure you’re very tired. If anything happens, Eilien and I should be able to handle it just fine.”

Eilien looked between the two with something unreadable in his fiery eyes. At Legolas’ eyes, he glanced at his partner with a raised eyebrow, his grin threatening to split the skin at the corners of his mouth. He laughed, loud and clear, like crystal bells. “Oh yes, we’ll handle it,” he said in a sing-song voice. He chuckled softly afterwards, in light little ‘hmms’, then he hopped off the bench and stood on the rocky ground of the cave, bringing his heels together. “I’m off to the dining hall if any of you lovelies care to find me.” He was thinking of Legolas’ little suggestion. Of course he would love nothing more than to run off and suck something of all its bodily fluids, but that was a little hard to achieve if he was supposed to stick around with Legolas to ‘handle’ things while the leader rested. What he would give for a downy pillow for his own head about now. He had a sarcophagus instead. Hard, annoying thing, but it was necessary he supposed.

She would love to rest, but in all honesty she couldn't. Rinori had work to do, even if she was a bit too ahead. Right now she wanted to punch Eilien and just tell Legolas that she was going to pull through and to not worry about it. "No no I'm fine. Don't worry about it." She said, being incredibly stubborn for once, she turned and began walking down the hall.

On more than one occasion, Legolas had been terribly tempted to ask Eilien why he was such a strange little child. He’d resisted out of fear of being juiced. This was one of those occasions. He settled for telling the little boy, “Have a nice dinner,” as he danced off humming. Legolas watched him go, and then heaved a sigh and began to follow him at a slower pace. He frowned again in Rinori’s direction, but it wasn’t really his place to chastise his Sanctuary Leader’s decisions regarding personal upkeep. He only hoped it didn’t get anyone in trouble.

Eilien returned to the hall sometime later, having eaten his fair share of raw meat, and even taken a bit off the top of his own leash. That had been amusing. But time for amusement was over. He was disturbed and could not quite put it into words for anyone to understand, and more than anything, he was starving. Snatching a taste of Legolas had put him over the edge. How sweet and rich and wild the blood of a carnivore tasted on his tongue. It was like fire to all his senses. Much like the blood of virgins. Now a virgin carnivore would be a rare treat. And now all Eilien could think on was blood. And that was only exacerbating the situation. He eventually found Rinori before she went off to get her rest. He approached her with a very purposeful stride, but his eyes screamed a monster about to be loosed. It just needed a direction to be pointed in. "Do you have a job?" he asked, no, more like demanded from her. He rarely was this way, but now was the time.

Rinori looked up from her thought, staring right into Eilien's eyes. She then raised a brow, before crossing her arms in front of her. She kept her stoic stare as she said. "There are many jobs. What specific one are you looking for?" She kept her cool, days have been rather annoying.

Legolas had finished the meat he'd speared on his dagger to take with him, and then cleaned his dagger and replaces it back into his sheath, and then adjusted all his weapons and the little bits of armor he was wearing. Most of it was uncomfortable, so he didn't bother to wear it when he was in sanctuary. He followed after Eilien, paying just enough attention to the little vampire that he didn't loose him since Eilien seemed to know where he was going and Legals did not. Something about finding Rinori? He let his mind drift since he doubted Eilien was going to want to talk to him about anything anyways.

Eilien's eyes narrowed dangerously, but there was a new glow to those burning depths. "Whatever do you mean? A job where I kill of course. What else did you have in mind?" He really did not want to hear it, so he just went on. "I want to break bones and gnaw the marrow away, bite into necks and suck bodies dry. I could put it into more simple language for your young ears, or perhaps I could make it very brief, very blunt: I want to kill. I want to kill in my own fashion of such a merciless kind that those who look at it will fear the hand that moves behind it. I want them to fear the shadows simply for witnessing what the shadows left behind. If you don't have a job like that for me, then I will have to go make one, won't I? Anything to please the Night Mother."
