"Until the morn!" Rijja saluted some sort of farewell excitedly before hopping off her stool and heading back their table. "I just love troll season," she proclaimed to Hjortr with a grin when they were out of the merchant's earshot. She grabbed her bottle of wine and took a drink as she sat on the edge of the table. "Goodness I'm already looking forward to tomorrow. We're sure to come across all sorts of excitement and we won't have to spend another night in a blasted inn. Under the stars again finally."

"At least one of us is looking forward to it," he said, though there was also excitement in his eyes. He was merely teasing her. "What shall we do to pass the time...oh wait, we should get geared up before we head out. I don't know how well stocked the supply store is here, but it can't hurt check?"

She playfully kicked him when he teased her and rolled her eyes since she knew he was excited too, he just didn't show it as much as she did. "Yeah, checking our gear sounds like a good idea. I'm sure the store is half decent. If not, then I'm sure we'll manage to find other ways to restock," her vagueness of how they would do that was a little ominous.

"I'll bet there are some villagers who wouldn't mind parting with certain things for a price," he suggested, trying to be resourceful. He doubted there was anything they needed that could not be readily acquired.

"Hmmm what are we needing," Rijja asked aloud. She cocked her head slightly to the side and stared intently at her wine bottle. She started to count things off on her left hand with her fingers as she listed what they needed. "Non-huntable food," she held up her thumb as her first item but was immediately stuck on what else there was that they needed.

"I believe a few more health potions are in order. I could use a new dagger to replace the one I lost. Ah yes, some non-huntable food would be nice as well." He grinned cheekily at her phrasing. "Perhaps bread and dried meat."

"Ah, yes. Health potions." She held up her index finger now to mark it. "The darned things are always so expensive. It's as if they were made of your own blood that you had spilled on jobs just to pay for them," she complained. She held up a third finger for Hjortr's dagger. "Oooh, perhaps we can find some sweet rolls or other sweets here. It's been quite a while since I've had anything sweet besides fruit." Sweet rolls were held in high regard by Rijja, as their tastes was not something she could find in the wilds. A rarity of sorts to her from her upbringing. And also of course because she was such a child at times.

His smile became a little more genuine and less cheeky. "Ah yes, the ever elusive sweet rolls. Wherever shall we scrounge those up?" He honestly had no idea. Hopefully the inn here, or the Riverwood Trader. "Will you settle for Honey Nut Treats?" he asked. He actually had a recipe for those if such drastic measures called for his cooking skills.

To Rijja, one of the few good things about little villages and towns was their sweets. "Hmmm. I suppose they will suffice. Although I suppose it wouldn't be too difficult to make on our own- aside from obtaining honey of course. Pesky bees." She said with a frown as she remembered her past dealings with bees. She did not like bees.

"I'm sure Honningbrew Meadery outside Whiterun will have some honey stock to sell if it comes to that," he said, doubting that there was a hive readily available right here. He tipped his bottle back and drank the last swig of ale within. He set the empty bottle down on the table. "Shall we head out then, Rijja?"

She wrinkled her nose at the thought of visiting a meadery. She couldn't stand the stuff and thought of going where it was made sounded like a horrible idea, honey or not. "Yup," she finished the rest of her wine and set it down on the table as well. "You're in charge of handling all the transactions," she reminded him, as she was horrible with bartering and had little experience or understanding of pricing. All her life she never had a conventional education of economics from her life among bandits and the wilds of Skyrim.

"Oh, but of course," he said, knowing full well her reason for saying so. He stood and shoved his chair aside. He followed her out of the tavern, tugging his cloak around him as they stepped into the chilly air.
