"Sick?" She frowned seeing the leaf just crumble. "... How unfortunate." She walked towards the tree and rests her hand on it. "I wish I knew some kind of magic to heal this tree... but I have very little skill." She didn't have much interest in Magic of sorts. She was just a busy person all the time.

Erebus raised his hand so that the leaf crumbles fell away in the breeze, blowing away in the wind for a moment before settling in the slow. Glancing back up at the tree, Erebus said, "a real pity," he said, and he meant it. Anything so noble deserved a longer life. He looked back at Iirefire. "I'm sure there is someone who can help this tree. Divines willing, they'll save it soon."

Her sad mood turned hopeful once again. "I sure hope so." She said, clasping her hands together and forcing a hopeful smile. It was hard to, for such a giant tree that was unfortunately sick. But she still had much hope.

"Let's go that way," he said, pointing at an area that looked to have a clear view of the Plains District. "There's a nice view there looks like." He led her away from the sad tree's state and off to a better area outside Jorrvaskr where they could look over the area. he held up the little pouch of meat he had bought and ate another piece.

Iirefire followed after him, smiling happily and all. Now that they were away from the saddened tree, they could be happy and stuff and talk about things. She took another bite of the little meat pouch she bought as she walked alongside him. She wasn't entirely sure what to ask him so she kept quiet for the moment, taking in all the wonderful views.

Erebus let out a soft sigh. "It's surprisingly peaceful here," he said, sweeping the views with his gaze, pausing on the sight of Dragonsreach up on the top of the hill. "It'll be a shame to leave this place. I don't know when I'll next set foot in here."

Upon hearing this, Iirefire frowned. He was really nice, she didn't want him to leave. "It'll be sad to see you head off as well. You're one of the nicest people I've met." Her cheeks flushed red slightly. "I'll still be in Whiterun if you and your brother stop by again. I'm not really going anywhere for a while." She giggled somewhat.

"Well, I'll be everywhere at once. For its location even, it's very seldom I ever set foot in Whiterun. Such a misfortune, to miss out on all this." He gestured at the town again. He looked down at the snow dusted ground under his boots. "Have you ever thought of setting foot outside Whiterun?" he asked Iirefire.

"I have a few times," Iirefire said after a moment. "Where I go... I don't know. There are many places to visit in Skyrim." She smiled somewhat. "I keep forgetting to ask, where are you heading after Whiterun?" She asked after a moment of thought.

"To the wilds of Skyrim," he said. "There's some ruins my brother and I need to search through. Apparently some certain relics in there are very valuable." He was not about to elaborate on the nature of the ruins or the so called relics. It mostly involved vampires and possible daedric ties. And then there was the rumors of the ancient vampire lord in the north. There were possible ways for them to gain his powers if they investigated the texts left behind. That was what Nyx was investigating right now, to see the exact locations for the vampire lord's burial site.

"Ruins? I've always wanted to visit some kind of ruins... they fascinate me!" She said with a slight cheer. However she was really unaware of their true intentions... but even if he said what he was doing she would still be very fascinated with the subject. It was the strange thing about Iirefire.

Erebus smiled. "You know, it's a shame we only met each other now. If the circumstances had been different, perhaps we could have gotten to know each other better, and you could have come to accompany me on these quests. You certainly have the spirit for adventure." But probably not the desire for such terrible dangers as my life offers.

"Oh I do wish one day I could." She said with a small, yet sad smile. "I just wish I could go explore. Yet I have duties to fufil." The Inn was the only thing keeping her a float. If she were to lose it... it would be over for her.

Erebus knew it was a stretch to ask so soon, but he simply had to know wether or not there was a chance at all. As she had a steward, she could leave the shop, but would she? Was she just going to disappoint him, or would she be willing to leave the comfort of her home for adventures? He had used his vampiric charms to be sure, but they did not always sway everyone. Perhaps he really was being too hasty. But time was running out for his stay here in Whiterun. "What if I asked you to come with me now?"

"Huh?" Iirefire was taken aback by his question, before she managed to process it. She thought about it for a moment, looking to the sky as if a god would answer her question for her. She then turned to the ground, still continuing to think before she suddenly sputtered out: "I would go with you."
